SATURDAY, AUGUST 26: BAD DECISIONS & GINÉ ROSAT

From 7.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.: COMPARATIVE TASTING OF 3 WINES, 6 VINTAGES. We will taste two special vintages of three representative BUIL & GINÉ wines. We will talk about the meaning of vintage in wine and why wines don’t taste exactly the same every year. How does climate affect the life cycle of the vine? What is the influence of terroir in wines? Do not miss this tasting of six wines!

From 8.45 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Live music, wines and tapas at the BUIL & GINÉ Wine Bar. On this occasion, Bad Decisions will accompany us and we will receive them with a glass of our unique GINÉ ROSAT 2017. Bad Decisions is an Americana flavored band: original song-based music with a bluesy, folksy, popsy feel. Founders Sheridan Hindley (vocals, harmonica, USA) and Alejandro Labandera (guitar, Uruguay) have been cultivating their own style and sound for years: songs that bring you to the open highway, lonely gasoline stations, stories born in bars long after closing hours with the blinds down… Live, they take the audience on a journey with them, each song a chapter from “The Book of Bad Decisions”. In quartet, the sound of Bad Decisions grows with the contribution of two great musicians based in Barcelona, Nicolás
López
on bass and Luis “Chuli” Miranda on drums. Remember: Bad Decisions make good songs!

Wines by the glass and food will be available during all the event.

WHY KM. 11,5 FEST?

#WeArePriorat responds to our raison d’être: we represent the sixth generation of Priorat winegrowers. Wine has always been an essential part of our culture and lifestyle, and that’s how we want to share it. We understand wine as a source of transmission of knowledge and of this historical legacy that precedes us. In addition to making wines that are representative of our terroir, we also strive to introduce you to our territory and culture through wine tourism so that you can enjoy a full experience in Priorat. We believe that living it, is the best way to feel it and understand its immensity. The KM. 11.5 FEST alludes to our exact location in Priorat and is at the same time a metaphor of our origin, of this legacy that we have the responsibility to make known and maintain, enriching it for future generations.
